Ensure that your information is protected by double checking that this option is set to https.

OtherOS, which allowed PS3 owners to add Linux to their system will no longer be available. However, IPhone hacker and now PS3 hacker, Geohot, has hacked the PS3 to allow for the Linux option yet. Geohot for the win.

This time we handed out a whopping 24 Ubuntu CDs and many people took fliers, including a few ladies who just thought Tux was cute. Hopefully they will see that he is not only cute but useful too! We had a laptop running ubuntu with a wiimote connected that could be used to play the game neverball. Landon also stopped by for a while with his eeepc and showed off some mythweb features.

To those who are reading this as a result of picking up a flier: Welcome! If you did not sign up on our mailing list at the fair, please feel free to do so now by following the “Listserv” link on the right. Also, If you ever have time to come to lunch on Wednesdays (noon to 1PM) please come back and check the “Lunch Meetings” section on the right.
